An ardent photographer for over 30 years, I seek to capture the casual qualities of each subject with creative candid and semi-formal images. I specialize in Black & White photography and work primarily in Portraiture and Event photography.
Portraiture: meetings can be at your home or other arranged location. Photos are taken both outside and inside the home working primarily with natural lighting, using both color and black & white techniques. Images are provided to the customer digitally where they can arrange for their own printing or I can have the prints produced from professional lab resources.
Event Photography: when contracted to photograph an event (wedding, anniversary, or other celebration) I will produce a non-traditional album of color and black & white photographs. My purpose is to produce a unique and creative work that depicts the heart of the occasion.
Fees:
Portrait work is feed at a flat rate. Typically I charge $100, which involves about an hour of photographing and 3 to 4 hours of editing on the computer. Travel outside the local area may require an additional charge. Images become the joint property of both myself and the customer. The customer receives a CD of the photos and can arrange for their own printing, or I can arrange printing for an agreed upon price.
Event work is determined by the size an nature of the event. A typical 4 to 5 hours of shooting is $500 plus expenses. One half is due in advance, the balance due at the event. All but $100 is refunded if the event is cancelled at least 48 hrs in advance.
